Statistically, people experiencing disability remain at a disadvantage. However, progress has been made by the commitment and dedication of businesses who have made adjustments to provide accessible services and products, and to become inclusive. Often unnoticed, they work relentlessly to deliver the excellent quality of life to people who deserve and are entitled to receive it.

I have worked in the disability and charity sector for over fifteen years for household name charities like RNIB and Guide Dogs, as well as on a range of projects independently working towards finding the correct solution at the correct time for individuals and companies. A different voice and a fresh look at day-to-day issues has brought customers results and success at locations across the UK.

Some topics I can support you with include:

  • Disability employment support
  • Assistive technology training
  • Wellbeing and confidence courses

Providing support for a specialist disability school in Birmingham, it has been a privilege to be able to assist with navigating the challenges of delivering a specialist curriculum for pupils over recent years. A passion of mine is to create opportunities for people to live the lifestyle they can through education, improving wellbeing and access to opportunities. I am an individual who has navigated through life with the challenges of living with sight loss, and I know that today the landscape looks and feels a little different from before 2020.

Away from work my two go to pastimes for unwinding are reading and walking. I have always focused on improving my personal wellbeing by making use of the technology options available first and getting outdoors when I can, which has supported me through both successful and challenging times.
